Womp womp.
Any other FoST owners get one of these?
I would love to avoid the whole "stall without warning" thing. At least when I started driving I knew to expect a stall.

I haven't got my FoST yet but a friend has one. Really easy and fast repair. Ask if anyone in the service department has a FoST and ask if they can do it.

Dealer is right down the street from my work so I typically stop by in the morning if I need anything, drop it off, then walk the mile to work. I've done it twice for oil changes haha. So easy.

My car is in the recall. It has stalled twice on me. Haven't been able to bring it in for the recall yet though.

Just randomly stalled?
I mean, I noted the "hesitation" for the past couple months but thought it had more to do with a combination of temperature and RVP changes.

I work at the dealership. Put vehicle in service, walk up stairs to office. I can dig it.

I pulled up to a stoplight, clutch in and stop and as I stopped it just died. Did the same at a stop sign the next day.

Damn...but at least it was when stopping. If it were to happen, glad it was then.

From what I've read/others it is mostly at idle that they're stalling. Not that it makes it a non issue at all, but I'd be more concerned if I was on the interstate and it just shut off.

I just imagined going along and the car being like, um...no. That's scary.

I've had that happen to me in two of our Caravans (sort of, one's a technicality). The first one was an electrical issue, the van shut off in the left lane of a busy-but-fast-moving New Jersey throughway and wouldn't restart. Getting it over to the shoulder was fun. The other time the transmission grenaded on the interstate so forcefully that the engine shut off. That time it was super late and we were the only car on the road, so getting over was easy.
